Free 3D creation suite
Open-source 3D and compositing software with a full node-based compositor rivaling AE for VFX pipelines.
Motion graphics and visual effects
After Effects is the standard for motion graphics, compositing and VFX. Simple animations take far longer here than in newer generative tools.
Generative video and VFX
Runway generates video from text or images and offers AI rotoscoping, inpainting and motion tracking that once needed a VFX suite.
Commercially safe generative imaging
Firefly is Adobe's generative image model trained on licensed content, with generative fill, expand and text effects. It plugs directly into Photoshop and Express.
Motion graphics made simple
A browser-based motion design tool aimed at marketers and small teams needing quick animated graphics without AE's learning curve.
VFX and editing combined
Desktop software merging video editing and visual effects compositing with hundreds of built-in effects and 3D compositing tools.
Browser video editor with AI tools
VEED edits video in the browser with AI subtitles, background removal, eye contact correction and an avatar generator. It suits social content more than film work.
